Residing close to the famed Barefoot Resort, home to four legendary golf courses, travelers will find Barefoot Landing. Originally a small shopping village that began in the earl 1970s Barefoot Landing has grown to a large village filled with dining, shopping and entertainment.
Barefoot Landing spans a twenty-seven acre lake that is criss-crossed with bridges and boardwalks connecting the businesses. Breezes drift across the water as guests sit and enjoy a meal or meander through the shops. Entertainment is found year round there in the form of festivals, fireworks (summer only) and live entertainment venues. It is centrally located to a number of hotels, resorts and waterfront condominiums.
Guests can enjoy a night at the House of Blues for a menu full of southern comfort foods and live entertainment ranging from well known bands to comedy and even a murder mystery theater night. T. I. G. E. R. S. Preservation station located on the opposite from Alligator adventure allows visitors to enjoy learning about native and exotic animals. Photo sessions are available and all proceeds help to fund this wildlife preserve. Families will enjoy spending time walking through Mirrormaze, 2000 square feet of mirrors or attending pirate school. If they are lucky enough they might even enjoy a ghostly tale or two recounted by the ghosts themselves at Ghosts and Legends Theater.

The cuisine ranges from Americana to steaks and seafood. Most have the option of dining indoors or out on a deck with a view of the lakefront.
