The Children’s Science Museum of South Carolina is located in the business district of Myrtle Beach. It offers fun educational centers and special programs Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. There are activities for all ages to enjoy. Admission is $8 per person children age one year and under is free. Annual, summer and Saturday passes are available. Visitors to the area who have reciprocal passes for Children’s Museums across the country may use their passes here.

There is always something new and different happening at the Children’s Science Museum of Myrtle Beach. The most recent addition is the expansion of Diamond Del’s Gem Mining Experience. The museum has added an eighteen feet long water flume to the exhibit. Museum guests can now pan for gems and fossils.

Above and beyond special educational events, such as Tales for Tots, Snakes Alive, Planetarium shows, etc, there are regular exhibits that visitors enjoy daily. Some of the interactive exhibits are Discover South Carolina, It’s Electric, Express Yourself Art center, Colin’s Kids Discovery Lab Classroom, Bubble Mania, Put it Into Words and South Carolina Fossil Hunt. Combing exciting adventures and education make the Children’s Science Museum of South Carolina a great family outing.
